Jimena and Erika

Hurricane Jimena made landfall earlier today as a CAT 2 storm( just 48 hours ago was a 1 mph from CAT 5).Now Jimena has weakened to a category one storm as it moves along the west coast of southern Baja California. Bringing tons of rain to Baja and into parts of Mexico and it is forecast to take a hard left turn sometime Friday and go back into the Pacific as a Depression and could re-fire later next week. That is something to watch. And now closer to home, TS Erika is so unorganized that no intensification is expected, given the amount of shear that is present it would not be wrong to say that it may disipate all together. The top 2 photos are of Jimena making landfall, and the last 2 are of Erika.
