Next Week Severe Threat???

The SPC has outlined day 6 ( Which is Christmas Eve Eve) for possible severe storms. Remember last Christmas Eve a EF-1 tornado touched down in Limestone County in the Belle Mina community at 3:33pm. We will continue to monitor for the chances of severe weather next week.

  1. I would say this has a lackluster look to it for severe further to the east. Not saying it won't happen, but I just don't think the environment is going to be very favorable for it that far east of the MS river.

  2. The models are constantly changing, the latest run is showing snow for us here in Alabama again for Christmas eve. They will more than likely change 100 more times. I agree that more than likely the stronger storms should stay west of the Mississippi river, for the 3rd straight day the SPC has not moved the outlook box east. We will wait and see.
