Well some snow well wishers are very disappointed today as the snow did not meet expectations. There a few factors for this. 1) the snow moved in about 5 hours ahead of schedule and with that happening there was no chance for any of what little gulf moisture to be a factor.2) there was alot of sleet mixed in with the snow and when that happens it takes away from some of the accumulations. By looking at the current radar it looks now as if areas from Tuscaloosa to Birmingham can expect the most.
