18z GFS for Friday
Well with each run it changes a little bit each time. Still it looks as if the most significant snow will fall across South Alabama, but areas like the Birmingham metro could see 2"-4". Notice the GFS is showing a little more moisture up into North Central Alabama about 1/2" of moisture as far north as Cullman. Here in the Tennessee Valley we are right on the edge, could the low move a little North of the predicted track and bring us accumulating snows we will just have to wait and see. Remember with all Alabama snow events expect anything (like the mini snowstorm we had on Monday). Anything is possible sta tuned.
