Well as my family and I are preparing for our vacation to Myrtle Beach my attention turns to the tropical system that is forecast to be churning off the South Carolina Coast. I guess it is the weather geek in me, the storm chaser or a combination of the 2. While it might not ever amount to anything it still bares watching as it could stall out just east of the Bahamas and the lingering effect would be increased wave action and rip tides all along the South East and Mid Atlantic coast. There will also be the threat of a few thunderstorms along the coast as well as the inland areas a few water spouts could be very possible. So if you are planning a trip to the East coast as I am with my family on this Memorial Day weekend please be weather aware.
