I am not going to name each model below because it is below the model itself (just click the picture and it will inlarge). What I will do is let you know is that each one is totally different. Each model below is valid 12z Monday, and if you will notice the different looks each has. Some have the bulk of the accumulating snows across Mississippi another has a heavy band of snow across the Tennessee/Alabama State lines, and other have the heavier snow along the I-20 corridor including Birmingham/Tuscaloosa.Others show up to .50" of Ice across North Alabama into Monday. Also take what you see here and on tv with the local meteorologist very serious. Even though not any 2 are the same, Locals across North Alabama are showing 4-8" of snow and Ice/Sleet/snow to the south of Cullman. The locals in Birmingham are showing 3-6" in North Alabama with the heavier snow Across Central Alabama. Whatever part of Alabama you live in and read this blog please be prepared and stay safe. The weather is going to go downhill Sunday night. Remember back to the Christmas Eve snow, no one saw it coming they were all saying dusting to 1" or less, and the forecast models missed it as well except the ECMWF and some of the short range models that night. Locals and the models missed it by a good 3"+ so prepare for the worse in case the forecasts are low balling again. My thinking from the accumulation forecast I posted Yesterday will stay the same. PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND USE CAUTION WITH THIS EVENT.
