Quick Look At The Latest Model Estimates

These are the latest model output estimates on the snowfall from Sunday night into Monday. As you can see they still are not in complete agreement on where the bulk of the snowfall will be. The RPM has it over the Northern part of the state, and the GFS and NAM are more along the I-20 corridor. So we will see. It is hard to predict just where the Low pressure will track this far out. All it will have to do is track a little further out in the Gulf for us to get nothing in North Alabama, or track a little further north for us to all get slammed. At the bottom of the page is an estimate from ABC3340 showing where they as well as NWS Birmingham and Huntsville. I will leave my estimate map alone for now until tomorrow evening. Stay tuned as the weather will go downhill Sunday Night.

12z Monday Precipitation off of the NAM

06z Monday Precipitation off of the GFS

15Z Monday NAM accum snowfall.

06z Monday GFS accum snowfall
