Strong Storms On Tuesday??????????

Well we have talked in passing about tomorrows potential for strong to even severe thunderstorms. While the SB Cape values are between 500-650 jk/g, we do note that the 0-3kn SRH (as seen on the below output)is between 350-400 units, which is high enough to support rotating updrafts if the form. Also one thing that is concerning for this time of year is the STP at 2 units which is significant. We are not expecting a major severe weather outbreak, but a few strong to severe storms are possible. The time frame looks to be from about 12 noon to 6pm for us here in north Alabama. The SPC has just a small 5% outlook for almost the entire state. Our main threats (if any) across north and central Alabama looks to be in the form of small hail, gusty winds, vivid lightning, and the outside chance of an isolated tornado. Stay tuned for any chase details and further updates.
