Ok some may look at the models below and think we are in trouble. EHI at 3.48 near Russelville, Cape values near 1000 j k/g,among other factors. That is not the case at all. Yes we are expecting a few strong to severe storms later this evening and tonight and a few isolated tornadoes are possible especially with the SRH values near 310 m2/s2 or higher. That is more than enough to support any rotating updrafts that may form. We are not looking for a major tornado threat but cannot rule out 1 or 2 warnings, but large hail, strong straight line winds, and dangerous lightning is the main threats today. We are under a slight risk today, but no need to really worry. We have another system tomorrow night and are also under a slight risk then as well. It looks a bit stronger than the one today, but looks weaker than it did this time yesterday and I will touch on it later tonight or tomorrow morning once we get this one out of here.
